Guests say

Colman Bach offers a peaceful retreat in a stunning location near beautiful beaches and countryside, making it ideal for those seeking to unwind and enjoy nature. Guests consistently praise the views and tranquil setting, with some appreciating the opportunity to disconnect from city life. However, several reviews mention that the cottage is in need of updating and deeper cleaning, with some maintenance issues reported. While the hot tub and garden are highlights for many, the overall comfort and upkeep could be improved to match the property's excellent location.

Cleanliness is a recurring concern, with multiple guests noting grime, unpleasant odours, and the need to clean upon arrival. Some found the property acceptable, but most felt standards were below expectations.

The location is widely praised for its beautiful views, proximity to beaches, and peaceful surroundings, making it a standout feature of the property.

Comfort is mixed; while some guests enjoyed their stay, others found the furniture old and uncomfortable, with thin mattresses and worn bedding detracting from relaxation.

Facilities are described as basic, with several maintenance issues such as patchy Wi-Fi, broken appliances, and a hot tub that was sometimes unavailable. The garden and hot tub are appreciated when functional.

There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

If you are looking for a peaceful escape to unplug and recharge, Colmon Bach is an absolute gem.The location is excellent, surrounded by stunning views, beautiful nearby towns, and gorgeous beaches to explore. Just keep in mind that the nearest pub is quite a distance away, so you will definitely need to be prepared to drive when heading out for food or drinks. One of the biggest highlights was having the hot tub—it made the holiday extra special! There is nothing better than sitting back, relaxing, and taking in the breathtaking views in the evenings after a full day out exploring the coastal scenery and local towns. If you want a holiday that is truly away from it all where you won't be pestered, this place is for you. While the Wi-Fi connection has been upgraded, it can still be a bit patchy—which ended up being a blessing in disguise for a proper break. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

As we know and love the area, the cottage suited us for a few days however we were rather surprised at how run down it all appeared this time. We know how basic it is as we’ve stayed before. So we didn’t expect anything flashy, but equally we were paying a substantial price for it., It was clean and functional, but very tired and scruffy to be honest.

Location is perfect with the harbour so close. The accommodation is shabby ...one cooker ring doesn't work, the fridge is missing shelves and was not cold enough. Out food went off and we were asked to defrost it. Then we were asked to wash towels for next door. No clean laundry provided for second week and leak on hot rub. Also holes in the decking and patchy wifi. Mouldy bathroom! Overall too expensive. What a shame
