The location on the stunning Llyn Peninsula affords many wonderful walking opportunities, and the pretty fishing village of Aberdaron is close by with a small selection of local shops, pubs, and cafés, as well as the fascinating National Trust’s visitor centre, Porth y Swnt. There are many unspoilt beaches to be found in the region, where seals and dolphins can sometimes be spotted. Lively Pwllheli, with its weekly market and larger selection of shops, pubs, and restaurants, is 17 miles away, whilst the Snowdonia National Park, with its dramatic mountain scenery and exhilarating outdoor pursuits, is within easy reach.

A big thank you to Dylan, who has made a palace. On arrival all I could say was wow. It’s a wonderful house, the rooms are massive and all so well fitted out. The lounge contains a piano which plays itself! Also a very large television. We hired both houses on site and there was 14 sat comfortably every night. The kitchen was so big we cooked and all ate around the kitchen table, there is another dining table in the conservatory. Again the kitchen has everything you need. The house was spotless on arrival, the bedrooms are all lovely. The pool although was only used once was warm, and the wave machine can give you a good workout swimming against it. On site is a large pond which is for fishing, the views from the house are beautiful. All in all we all had a wonderful time here, don’t know how we couldn’t. One downside being in the country the WiFi can dip but that made for more family chat.

We had to clean Crockery before we could use it, the dust under the bed must have built up over week due the thickness of it. Our pup got her leg trapped in the landing of the stairs leading up to the apartment because the slats that form the wooden landing are too far apart. My husband struggled to use the kitchen work service due to the slope of the ceiling he had to bend forward which is not good for his back.
