Set in a rural location in the village of Llangwnadl on the picturesque Llyn Peninsula, this detached holiday property is just 1½ miles from the nearest sandy beach and is set in large lawned gardens. With plenty of footpaths locally, there is much to explore including the beautiful coastline and the pretty village of Aberdaron. The National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw is a short drive away, and the property is equidistant from Pwllheli, with its weekly market, and Abersoch. Also worth a visit is Criccieth with its historic castle. The spectacular mountain scenery of the Snowdonia National Park is also easily accessible. Shop and pub 3 miles, restaurant 7 miles.

We had a great time at Rhos Y Grug. The cottage was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need. A huge and lovely garden with seating areas and play area with swings and slide for the kids. The dog loved the big garden too! The area itself is breathtakingly beautiful with several beaches close by one of them Penllech Beach which is just 5 minutes down a country lane with a big free car park and the beach itself out of this world beautiful! The beaches are all dog friendly (have areas which are allowed for dogs in summer). The whole area is quite remote but that is what we were looking for! All in all a lovely holiday and we wholly recommend the cottage!

Overall a pleasant stay at this clean property in Wales. It is a spacious place for families with young children and a dog to stay and we all found it quite comfortable like a home from home. You need your own transport really for convenience and most amenities are close by and we found them to be sufficient for the length of our stay. The local area is kind of remote if you are used to a built up area but nice for relaxing and the garden is large with some seating and play equipment.

This is a wonderful house for a family holiday. Very spacious, everything you need and a fabulous garden with swing and slide. 10 minutes to Aberdaron which has a Spar and lots of eating places. Nice welcome basket on arrival.
