Guests are charmed by the stunning sea views and the property's proximity to the beach and local amenities. The upside-down layout with a balcony is appreciated, and the area is praised for its tranquillity and natural beauty. While some guests mention dated decor and minor maintenance issues, the overall experience is positive, with many returning for multiple stays.
The property is consistently described as clean, with specific mentions of spotless conditions and clean bedding. However, a few comments about the property appearing 'tired' suggest room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful sea views, proximity to the beach, and local amenities. Guests love the peacefulness and the natural surroundings, making it a standout feature.
Comfort is generally well-received, with mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy living area. However, some guests suggest that additional seating could enhance the comfort level.
Facilities are adequate with a well-equipped kitchen and clean bathrooms, but several reviews point out maintenance issues such as non-working taps and showers, and a need for updates. The lack of an outside tap and security light are noted.
While guests appreciate the prosecco on arrival and the property's homeliness, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures, such as welcome gifts, across all stays.

Lots of marks on the walls, requires decorating throughout. There was no blind on the bathroom window. As it is downstairs & right next to the front door it wasnât great, especially when the window cleaners arrived whilst having a shower! The en-suite in the main bedroom is shabby & door runners very rusty, so looks unsightly. Bedroom furniture is very tired. On a good note the beds were comfortable & the property was clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. The distance along the path from the car to the front door also needs highlighting. Itâs uphill and quite a way to carry bags.

The owner was helpful and communicative from the outset. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The views from the upstairs living area are particularly spectacular! The kitchen was well-equipped, and the living room was comfy and cosy. The location is wonderful - a short walk to the beautiful Llanbedrog beach, the fabulous Aqua Beach Bar and the wonderful Plas Glyn y Weddw Gallery. It was only a short drive to both Abersoch and Pwllheli. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you so much!

Good supply of cooking equipment. The kitchen, bathrooms and beds were very clean, but the property is very âtiredâ in its overall appearance. It looked as though the walls were suffering from water ingress, in numerous places, and a problem with wallpapering onto an inadequately prepared surface in others: whatever the reason, they looked in a very poor state, although I donât think it was suffering from damp.Such a shame, as the property could be spectacular. Iâm sad to say that I would not recommend.
