Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, secure garden, and thoughtful touches such as welcome packs. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, but overall, the property offers a pleasant stay.
The property is generally very clean, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness. However, there were isolated complaints about dog mess on the patio and an overgrown garden, which slightly affected the score.

The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and offers a range of games. However, some guests noted the need for minor maintenance and improvements, such as a bath mat and hand rail, which affects the score.

Overall, the property was excellent, in a very good location. The layout was perfect for us, especially the enclosed rear garden. Internally the property is of a high standard and well equipped. The blinds in the double bedroom, however, did not open and close with the pull cord. Each slat had to be turned manually. This was a minor hiccup which in no way affected our stay. As already mentioned, the property is very well located within easy reach of Abersoch and Pwllheli and the beach is a 15 minute walk away. All in all, Ty Cerrig is a must for a quiet, relaxing break.

Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed that the heating had not been turned up for our arrival. The property heating thermostat was set at 7 degrees when we arrived and was unbearably cold. It took 24 hours before the temperature in the property was comfortable. Our first night at the property was very miserable. There were no extra blanket or extra heaters and the temperature had only reached 11 degrees in the bedrooms by the time we went to bed. We have never used Skyescottages before and so we were very disappointed with this booking with them. We have booked cottages with other companies in the winter months and the properties have always been lovely and warm when we have arrived.

The property has been really beautifully presented with some lovely touches of local artwork. Super powerful shower and excellently equipped. There is no washing machine, but this wasn't an issue for our 4 night stay. Otherwise a lovely peaceful spot, close to the beach, some nice walks and a good local pub. Would happily come back. âºï¸
