Excellent home from home. Very well equipped.. Only quibble was a wobbly toilet seat and a rather cold bathroom. The rest of the house was lovely and warm. For this old fogey a tumble at the front door step was avoided when a grandchild intervened to guide me over the unconventional threshold.....a near miss. This same old fogey was slightly baffled by the locking mechanism at the front door. Again, a grandchild understood the technicalities. Once taught, the threshold and locks were not a problem.

Great location for visiting Abergavenny. Would definitely stay again. Great location. 5 mins from the Town Centre. 2 mins from Linda Vista Gardens for the dog. It was a cosy cottage with all the amenities, warm and comfortable. Nothing we didnt like. However parking outside could be a problem. When we stayed, the community Centre opposite the property wasnt fully open so we parked in their car park. It is their private car park. Having said that there is a large public car park just over 5 mins around the corner. Dog owners need to be aware that there is a shared lane at the back of the property which is in the instructions. We didnt use the garden so cant comment on that.

The cottage was exactly what we needed, it was very clean, comfortable and with the log burner so cosy too. Abergavenny is our special place and we were able to walk into the town to lovely pubs and the fantastic market. We will certainly consider booking the cottage again next year.
