This luxury property, a former mission hall, was renovated in 2019 and consists of an open plan living space with a wood burner, Smart TV and patio doors leading to a courtyard area. The Old Chapel is situated in the village of Grosmont, which has its very own castle for history enthusiasts, and there are plenty of other castles nearby, including Skenfrith Castle, 4 miles, and White Castle, 4½ miles. There are plenty of walks to be had from the property as its situated on the Wye Valley, and the River Usk is 9 miles away.
The market town of Abergavenny is 11 miles away and has an abundance of shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. It also holds its award-winning food festival every September. For those wanting to visit the historic town of Monmouth, is just a 12-mile drive from the property, and there are some local restaurants and pubs in the surrounding villages. We immediately felt at home and it felt warm and cosy when we walked in. Little extra touches made all the difference. Milk in the fridge and mince pies beautifully presented.. Beds were very comfortable and well appointed bathroom. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you a lovely and welcoming stay

We had a lovely stay at The Old Chapel. It was on a quiet road, and it was superbly appointed with everything you could need and more. The owners had left thoughtful touches for us too which made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend.
