A short break and the cottage was excellent for us, everything we needed and easy to settle in with a generous welcome basket a nice surprise. A lovely bathroom, pretty kitchen and very comfy beds with everywhere very clean and well presented. The view from the roof terrace is lovely and a really restful spot we were sorry we weren't staying longer. The owners were very friendly and helpful, with lots of local recommendations, and the description of the cottage and instructions email are accurate and fair.

We chose Y Teras as it was near to Llantwd, where this year's national Eisteddfod was held. The location turned out to be an ideal central point for many of the highlights in Pembrokeshire, being only a short drive from Tenby, Narberth, Newport, Cardigan and St David's.Y Teras is a cosy and comfortable cottage full of character and charm. Built in the 19th century, the stone cottages, set in the Preseli Hills were constructed for the local slate quarrymen and their families. The disused quarry is now a popular local attraction. The cottage is very well equipped and is a perfect place for anyone wanting to prepare meals from local produce, which we did.The beds are comfortable and the front bedroom (as does the terrace off the living room) has a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside, which is stunning. We had perfect weather, which made our holiday even better, but I imagine the cottage is a great place to stay come rain or shine. We will definitely be back.
