The ground floor is also home to a convenient cloakroom and a utility area, while the first floor hosts the charming bedrooms, made up of two doubles, one of which has its own en-suite bathroom , the Velux windows creating a bright and airy setting to wake up to each morning. There is a bandstand which offers a wonderful seating area for when the sun is shining and great cover for those rainy days. Cenarth is a lovely village resting amongst the River Teifi in Wales, in easy reach of a range of coastal and countryside attractions. Amenities within the village include tea rooms, gift shops, pubs and a selection of convenience stores, as well as the Coracle Museum displaying coracles from around the world. Cardigan, Aberporth and New Quay all lie within easy reach along the coast, boasting beautiful walks and stunning seascapes, with attractions for a range of tastes.

It was a warm and cosy cottage with all the amenities needed, The owners Rob and Angela are the most welcoming people ive met, who go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The cottage is in a spot where you get your privacy plus it is in my opinion close to local towns, walks, attractions etc. We will definately be booking again to stay here. 5***** to the owners. As far as the cottage is concerned, you canât fault it. Sadly though the garden is not attached to the cottage itself and can only be reached by crossing the road down a fairly steep slope. I have mobility problems and ratbags for dogs so didnât get to try it. It looked lovely though, and the owner said I could use a more accessible field for the dogs which was very kind. The only reason Iâve given only three stars is the lack of phone signal (there is nothing on any network at all) and the WiFi averaged 2mbs. Since this was supposed to be a working holiday that caused a major problem. Itâs not something the owners can do anything about but it really needs to be made clear that for all intents and purposes thereâs no WiFi. I asked both the owner and Sykes about this and was told the WiFi was fine. It really isnât. If you want to get away from it all I thoroughly recommend but if you need to be connected itâs no good. Despite the lack of internet almost costing me my job, itâs a lovely cottage in a beautiful area so for an escape from the world it would be perfect.

As advertised, it did have lots of low ceilings but, for us, that added to its character. The owners were friendly and hospitable in an unobtrusive manner. Thank you.
