The Long Barn is highly praised for its helpful owner, John, and its peaceful, rural setting. Guests appreciate the modern amenities, cosy atmosphere, and proximity to beautiful beaches. While some minor criticisms exist, such as a lack of shaver socket and uneven outdoor areas, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Guests consistently report that The Long Barn is extremely clean, with only one mention of needing to clean an oven before use. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and enjoyment of their stays.
The location is frequently described as peaceful and ideal for exploring nearby beaches and attractions. The rural setting offers tranquillity and proximity to nature, although the narrow access lanes are noted, and the nearest shops require a short drive.
The barn conversion is often described as comfortable and spacious, with a warm atmosphere even in colder months. The presence of modern bathrooms and a well-appointed kitchen adds to the comfort level, although there is a mention of cramped living space for larger groups.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a modern kitchen and high-quality bathrooms. However, there are comments about the lack of a shaver socket and some outdoor areas being unsuitable for small children. The property is equipped with essentials and the wood burner is a highlight.

Little Haven 2.5 miles. This charming barn conversion is situated next to the owners’ home on their working cattle farm, close to the small Pembrokeshire village of Little Haven. Open beams, a beautiful wooden staircase, a warming woodburner and comfortable furnishings all combine to provide you with a wonderful stay within this beautiful part of Wales. The open plan living area with its high ceiling showing open beams and quirky farm feeders is perfect for time together, making meals and relaxing in front of the TV with your loved ones. Two ground floor bedrooms, one with an en-suite and an easy access wet room mean less mobile guests may well be able to enjoy a stay here too. The first floor offers a crog loft with a mezzanine sitting area and a curtained twin bedroom which is ideal for younger ones to have their own space, as well as their own bathroom tucked into the eaves. Venture out into the enclosed lawned garden, where children can play safely while you unwind with a refreshing drink. Drive the short distance to the scenic coastline to stroll along beaches, walk some of the famous coastal path, pop into a cafe or pub for refreshments, or maybe take a boat trip to Skomer Island (one mile off the coast) to see the puffins and Manx shearwater. The best time to be among the puffins is May to July but boat trips are a must all year round. With the whole of Pembrokeshire beckoning, there’s plenty on offer including theme parks, days at seaside resorts, historic castles and St. David’s, the smallest city in the UK. An excellent holiday home for families and friends with plenty to see and do in the area.
