Guests have enjoyed the scenic location, spacious garden, and the classic jukebox at Newton West Farm. The property is well-suited for large groups and families, offering a warm atmosphere and abundant hot water. The hot tub is a popular feature, and the property serves as a good base for exploring the surrounding area.
The property received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Some guests found it unclean with remnants of food and paint splats, while others mentioned it was spotless during their Christmas stay. The inconsistency suggests room for improvement.
The location is frequently praised for its scenic beauty and suitability for adventures in the surrounding area. It is described as a wonderful and amazing location, indicating high satisfaction among guests.
Comfort levels are generally good, with comfortable beds and a warm house noted. However, some guests found the living room crowded and the property layout not ideal for disabilities or babies, slightly reducing the comfort score.
Facilities like the jukebox and hot tub are highlights, but several reviews mention maintenance issues such as a broken sofa leg, missing handles, and a dangerous shower. The need for TLC and updates affects the score.
While some guests appreciated the welcoming touches like tea, coffee, and milk, others were disappointed by the lack of a welcome pack and basic provisions. As gifts are not consistently mentioned, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness.

The downstairs of the house was decorated with Christmas trees and decorations. We were also given some Christmas crackers, a nice touch. The house was spotless and we very much enjoyed the jukebox listening to some Christmas tunes! It was nice to enjoy a soak in the hot tub too. We had a small issue on Boxing Day and the owners solved it straightaway, which is greatly appreciated, specially on a festive day. The only thing that could be improved is providing either a bigger fridge or an extra fridge in the boiler room; this would make a more comfortable way to store food for such a big number of guests. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The Duke box was loved and saw was the hot tub. A bigger fridge will help for large families staying. An upgrade to the hot tub area will make the place more special with gazebo or shelter over and lights for when it gets darker in the evenings. Overall our stay was lovely and throughly enjoyed by all.

The hot tub being in full view of the roadway meant that it wasnât used at all and the lack of basic needs wasnât met at all
