Nolton Haven’s sheltered sandy cove is a 5 minute stroll away down a country lane from this family friendly, well furnished split level holiday home. The open plan kitchen leads into the living area with a wood burner, comfy sofas and enormous floor to ceiling windows which overlook extensive private lawns to the valley beyond. Patio doors open onto private gardens, part wild and part mown, bordered by a stream - ideal for games, picnics and lazy days.

Inland discover the ancient Preseli Hills - heather coated moors dotted with cromlechs to roam - cyclists can explore the gentle rolling foothills along little wooded lanes and bridleways all within an easy drive of this coastal holiday cottage close to beach at Nolton Haven. Beach 1 mile.

We had a lovely family stay at The Burgage. A roomy, airy house with the added benefit of lots of outside space in a tranquil location only 5 mins walk down to the great beach. Also easy access to all surrounding coastal area and beaches yet nicely tucked away.Would happily return there again.

Beautiful garden and the house is in a beautiful spot but the maintenance of the house and equipment just isnt good enough. I went with my elderly parents and luckily discovered a loose paving slap right at the top of the stairs on the patio outside, this needs to be repaired and could have been catastrophic to someones holiday. There were also other areas that really do need attention like the badly rusted drain inspection chamber around the back of the house that needs replacing (I took pictures of all of these) . Other really annoying little things were that there were no working tin openers so we had to buy one, the flip-top bin in the kitchen has a lid that keeps falling off, dishwasher wasnt working very well and the massive 6ft painting in the bedroom upstairs fell down at 2:30am on our first night there (which scared the life out of us) The garden and the walks up the hill are truly spectacular and Pembrokeshire is stunning but the house does badly need some TLC.

We enjoyed a fantastic week at The Burgage. The house has a lovely quiet and secluded garden, and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We did not mind the lack of local amenities (there is a pub and a very good farm shop nearby). The house is spacious and comfortable. Please note however that although the house was well-equipped there is no hair dryer and the lack of oven gloves was a constant worry.
