Upper White Gates is praised for its stunning sea views, spaciousness, and comfortable beds. The location is ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire and enjoying local amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped house and secure garden, though some noted the kitchenware and welcome pack could be improved. Parking is ample, and the property is well-suited for family groups.
There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.
The property boasts a beautiful location with sea views and proximity to beaches and local pubs. The steep walk to the village is noted, but the overall convenience and scenic setting are highly valued by guests.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the house spacious. However, some guests mention that the attic bedrooms are more suitable for children due to low ceilings, and the sofas are quite low, which may not suit everyone.
The property is well-equipped with ample parking and kitchenware, though some guests suggest additional items like smaller saucepans and extra bin liners. The oven and some kitchen items were reported as needing attention, and there is a mention of cars being damaged due to a stone in the driveway.
While guests mention a welcome pack, some found it underwhelming, and there is no guarantee of gifts. The property provides helpful touches like hairdryers, but guests would appreciate more attention to detail, such as additional tea towels and clearer parking instructions.

We had a lovely family holiday. The house was in a great location and was full of character with stunning views.Well equipped and comfortable. The only things people should be aware of is: there is no downstairs wc; the upstairs bedrooms have restricted height (only suitable for children) andthe parking requires you to drive across the neighbouring property.VFM okay but quite expensive with little extras

Upper White Gates is a wonderful holiday house. Its location is perfect, great sea views and a short (steep) walk to beautiful Little Haven with its fabulous beach, pubs, cafe, shops and a kayak/paddle board hire facility. Broadhaven is also walkable with a Londis store and a fish and chip shop. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We were a group of 9 in 4 cars and there was plenty of crockery, glasses, comfortable seating, parking etc. My only comment is that the two attic bedrooms are only really suitable for children, being small and low ceilinged. We had a fantastic family holiday and would recommend this house.

There were a few issues with the property, the oven is not working properly and on inspection the fan isn’t working. This has been mentioned in other reviews. There is not enough plugs with my wife having to dry her hair down stairs. The welcome pack was disappointing no Welsh cakes and a selection of coffee and tea sachets similar to a hotel. No effort. This has been mentioned in other reviews. No access to cleaning equipment such as hoover or mop etc, so we had to go and buy a soft brush to keep the floor clean. Late arrival and early departure causing you to lose a day.Although the location was beautiful and the local amenities were as expected and elements of the property are great. We have stayed at numerous properties over the years and I would expect much better attention to detail for the price. For example if you have reviews mentioning the same things, take some action.
