Newport is located along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which boasts a stunning coastline and excellent dolphin and seal-watching possibilities. This path along the coast and the neighbouring Preseli Hills, with their ever-changing landscape, are a walker's paradise at any time of year. Spend a day at the fantastic Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort, where you can learn hands-on all about life in that era, or visit one of the many mills, artisan centres, and castles strewn around the county. Visit the Shire Horse Farm to see some truly magnificent horses, or spend the day on one of the many, many gorgeous sandy beaches. It's a great place to take the kids any time of year.
