About this property

Set back in the corner of a quiet cul-de-sac this detached cottage is within walking distance of the charming seaside village of Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire. This beautifully presented holiday cottage is perfect for your family holiday by the sea. This delightful cottage has a light and airy open plan living room with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and seating area where you can settle down together after your delicious meal in front of the TV, or just sit and catch up on the places explored during the day. With three charming and varied bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, everyone will get a good night’s sleep and wake refreshed and raring to go on another day’s outing. Spend a little quiet time in the conservatory overlooking the rear garden, where the younger ones can safely play and the older ones can sit in the sunshine with an evening drink after a great day out. Stroll down to the harbour village with its superb sandy beach, a chance to join the famous coast path whilst enjoying browsing in the unique little shops, taking afternoon tea or enjoying an evening meal overlooking the beach and sea. Alternatively, take a boat trip to see the seal colony on Caldey Island, off Tenby, and the bird sanctuary on St Margaret's, or just a lovely coastal cruise. A complete holiday in the village will be a delight, but the brilliant selection of nearby attractions should not be missed. Explore historic castles, visit the Welsh Zoo or Heatherton Theme Park and catch up with the past at the Dinosaur Park. If you are feeling more energetic, try a round of golf or just wander along country lanes on foot or on bicycles exploring the hidden coves and unspoilt beaches. All year round there is so much to see and do in this beautiful part of Wales, and at the end of each day returning to this perfect holiday cottage will only add to your enjoyment.

The bustling fishing village of Saundersfoot is idyllically situated at the foot of a wooded valley on the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast, 3 miles from Tenby. The village offers an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants whilst the attractive harbour provides sailing and fishing opportunities. The stunning, sandy Blue Flag beaches present a wonderful spot for relaxed bathing, whilst walkers are well catered for with the 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path commencing at nearby Amroth.

Lots of rubbish & recycling not collected ; Plastic containers & bottles strewn round the garden along with paper which we picked up. There was also lots of wine & glass bottles on the floor falling out of 2 plastic bags. There was 2 bags of rubbish in the general rubbish bin also. We did inform the owner. 2. There were cats everywhere - on the doorstep, in the back garden & also lying on our car out the front. 3. We came back one day & there was a van parked in our space no 5 however after a short while it was moved. 4. The king size bed was really uncomfortable as it sunk when we got in - it gave us no support so resulted in giving us back ache the next day. The pillows were too thin so gave us neck ache too. Suggest a brand new mattress & decent pillows are required. The holiday on the whole was ok and the cottage was situated close to amenities and a great base to start from when visiting other areas.

Absolutely love the house! It has everything you want and need, home from home, if you will. Very clean, so comfortable and just a lovely place. Can’t recommend this property enough. The location is also fantastic, as it is just a 5 minute drive down to the picturesque Saundersfoot bay and is local to the amazing Tenby, which has an outstanding sandy beach. We haven’t been back from driftwood house a week yet and are already looking to book again!

The garden is enclosed so good for the dog. Toilet is noisy when refilling. Well located for Saundersfoot you can walk it but is hilly we managed it but was a pull.
