Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, it’s an ideal accommodation choice for small families or groups of friends who are searching for a characterful cottage to call home while they explore Pembrokeshire coast together. Wake up and head into Fishguard (2 miles) to drink a coffee by the harbour and then set off along the magnificent Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Or spend a tranquil morning at Abercastle (7.5 miles) and take the 1-mile scenic stroll to Carreg Samson, a 5,000-year-old Neolithic burial chamber. Further afield, head to Newport’s Carningli Centre (10 miles) to go antique-hunting, or to the National Trust’s Blue Lagoon in Abereiddi Blue Lagoon (11 miles) to go coasteering. Alternatively, grab your surf board and head to Newport Sands (11.5 miles).
Step inside this quaint whitewashed cottage and you’ll be greeted by an open-plan kitchen/diner/snug that’s bathed in natural light. Continue to the main lounge and make yourself at home while you admire the vintage-style decor and striking wood burner. Patio doors leading out into the garden from this space. When it’s time to eat, head back to the farmhouse-style kitchen area and whip up some dinner to share at the elegant dining table. Afterwards, cosy up by the crackling wood burner in the lounge. At the end of the day, head upstairs and you’ll find 1 king-size bedroom and 1 twin zip-n-link, as well as a smart bathroom room. A second shower room on the ground-floor completes the layout.
Walk through the patio doors into the garden and enjoy a BBQ feast on the patio. Afterwards, take a relaxing stroll around the shared grounds. There’s room for two cars on the shared driveway.
