Sleeping six guests, it’s the ideal retreat for large families or groups of friends seeking a tranquil base from which to explore this vibrant town. The holiday home is in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Tenby’s medieval town walls, not far from its bustling centre. This picturesque part of town boasts narrow, cobbled streets, lined with cute boutiques, galleries, and independent eateries. In summer, much of it becomes pedestrianised, creating a real ‘cafe culture’ of outdoor dining. Tenby has four gorgeous, sandy beaches, your nearest being South Beach (300 metres). This gently sloping beach is a favourite amongst families, with calm, clear waters for bathing. From the iconic harbour, featuring pastel-coloured houses, you can hop on the boat to visit the magical Caldey Island. Nearby attractions include Heatherton World of Activity, Manor Wildlife Park, and Colby Woodland Garden, all within 8 miles.
The quaint cottage has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Step through the front door and into the entrance hallway, where you can leave sandy shoes, before moving through to the cosy lounge/diner. Here, you can snuggle up on one of the plush sofas to watch TV or read your book. The elegant dining table, set under a glass ceiling, seats all six guests and is the perfect spot for hosting dinner parties and special occasions. On a warm evening, open the patio doors to extend the social space to the decked garden. Just off the dining area is a sleek kitchen, with glossy units and everything needed for a self-catering getaway. Rounding off the ground floor is a delightful double bedroom and a refreshing shower room. Upstairs, you’ll find a second double bedroom, along with a lovely twin bedroom with a seaside theme. A family bathroom with a bath with shower over completes the accommodation.
Outside, the enclosed, decked terrace has seating for eight for al fresco dining and is a lovely spot to unwind at the end of a busy day. Parking is on street, subject to availability, and there are also several public car parks nearby.
