With its golden sandy beach, stunning harbour and romantic cobbled streets, this walled town is full of history. Tenby north and south beaches are just a 15-minute walk away, and there are a host of shops, eateries, and boutique and gift shops to browse. Be sure to try the famous Tenby Brewery for some locally brewed ales or take a step back in time and visit Tenby Museum. Why not take one of the many boat trips fishing, or enjoy a trip to Caldey Island where the Cistercian monks have lived for 1,500 years?
Around this sublime coastline is Saundersfoot, a coastal village with a beautiful beach and busy harbour. Here you can enjoy some freshly caught fish and chips whilst looking out across Carmarthen Bay and towards the Gower Peninsula. Many family attractions can be found just 15 minutes away by car including Folly Farm Zoo, Oakwood, Wales’s largest theme park, and Heatherton world of Activities. Beach 800 yards. Hafan had everything we needed for a lovely week away. 20 minutes walk from the beach so ideally situated. The shower was lovely and all the bedrooms were a decent size. The addition of the fans after the recent heatwave was a great touch.Downstairs there was plenty of room to spread out and with only four of us there was room to complete a jigsaw on the dining room table and still have room to eat. The dishwasher and washing machine made it easy to get the washing up done and avoid coming home with too much dirty washing. There were a few areas of the house which could have done with a little more of a deep clean - the rugs for example had a lot of dog hair on them, fair enough in a house that excepts pets but not great for visitors who might have allergies - and there were a few patches of rust on the radiators and peeling on the kitchen cupboards but on the whole it was well kept. There were plenty of rugs and cushions for curling up on the spacious sofas should the weather be cooler and a cupboard full of games, jigsaws and DVDs.

We had a great time exploring Tenby and the surrounding area. Loved Caldy Island, and seal spotting. House is clean and well equipped, about 15 minutes walk to the center of Tenby, 20 at holiday pace! It is at the top off a hill but you can't really avoid hills in Tenby

Nice house with decent sized rooms and a garden and parking. Can walk into town in about 10-15 mins and a local co-op just down the road. Good location for the things we wanted to do. We had a great week of weather - really hot and there are some nice beaches where you can swim in the sea within 30 mins drive. We also really enjoyed a boat trip round Skomer to see sea birds.
