Guests consistently praise its peaceful surroundings, comfortable beds, and cosy atmosphere, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The cottage is spotlessly clean and provides everything needed for a comfortable stay, with thoughtful touches such as a well-stocked kitchen and a pool table. While the remote setting is a highlight for many, it does require some planning for shopping and amenities. Overall, guests highly recommend this property for those seeking a quiet retreat in North Wales.

Multiple reviews mention the cottage being spotlessly clean, neat, and tidy. There are no significant complaints about cleanliness, indicating a consistently high standard.

The rural, peaceful location is frequently praised for its beauty and tranquillity. Some guests note the remoteness and need to drive for amenities, but most view this as a positive aspect of the stay.

Guests highlight the extremely comfortable beds, cosy atmosphere, and warmth from underfloor heating and the log burner. A few minor comments about tired furniture and sofa comfort, but overall comfort is rated very highly.

The cottage is described as very well equipped, with a well-stocked kitchen, pool table, and washing machine. Minor suggestions include clearer instructions for rubbish and recycling, and a few requests for additional bathroom fittings and outdoor seating.

Guests appreciate the responsive and helpful host, as well as thoughtful touches like handwash, loo roll, and dishwasher tabs. No mention of gifts, so guests should note that such extras are not guaranteed.

Such a peaceful location. Lovely to wake up and watch the sheep grazing on the field outside the property. We love to explore North Wales and most places we visited were within an hours drive, with the very popular Betws Y Coed only 14 mins up the road. The house was clean and comfortable, everything you needed in the kitchen for preparing meals - we did a mixture of eating out and cooking at the house. Even had a washing machine which was handy after muddy trousers following a couple of treks. The wood burner is always an added bonus when in Wales. Although the weather wasn’t cold, when we had rain a couple of evenings, we lit it for the cosy feeling that we associate with our holidays to Wales. Host Sarah was lovely in the contact made via text and very quick to respond.

We loved our stay at the cottage! It’s really well equipped with everything you need. The location is great and we all enjoyed the peace and quiet! We would definitely consider returning again.

Bryan Gwynog is a beautiful and comfortable holiday home. I booked it for myself and 3 good friends for a girls, 50th birthday celebration base to go and walk Snowdon from. We didn’t read the location information properly so it was much more remote than we had realised - there is nothing in walking distance for an evening out, but we didn’t really mind as we booked a Tesco shop with plenty of food and cocktail making stuff. The cottage was a perfect bolthole to relax in. The cottage was well supplied with nice handwash, loo roll, dishwasher tabs and plenty of crockery etc.
