This historic farmhouse is a rural retreat for the whole family set on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. A Grade II property maintained with so many characterful original features, you’re sure to feel immersed in the beautiful scenery of North Wales throughout your stay here. Enjoy hikes and bike rides aplenty in the surrounding area or bring your canoe to get to know the fabulous waterways including the River Conwy. This impressive property accommodates up to nine guests, complete with a sprawling farmhouse dining table where the whole group can get together and raise a glass to family experiences. It’s also dog-friendly with a large garden that’s secure for ball games.
Low-hanging beams and exposed stonework come together to bring charm to this ancient building. Find sociable spaces including the traditional kitchen, the lounge/diner and the sunroom on the ground floor, perfect for relaxing when the weather doesn’t lend itself to evenings outside. Outside find a patio with furniture and a BBQ, along with the luxury touch of a hot tub for soaking beneath the stars. Moving back inside, all of the sleeping and washing facilities are laid out over two floors, with a double bedroom and wet room downstairs and three more bedrooms up one flight of stairs.
Whilst enjoying a rural location with walks all around, the property is just 2.5 miles from the village of Betws-y-Coed with local pubs, independent shops and a thrilling zip-lining centre on its outskirts. For further excursions explore the Gwydir Forest Park (5 miles), an area filled with lakes, mountains, old miner’s paths and cycle trails that outdoor adventure-seeking guests will jump at the chance to explore. There’s also Glyder Fawr within easy reach (15 miles), offering circular routes and summit walks for hikers of varying abilities.
