If you fancy treating your loved ones to a meal out, there are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the town which is just a short walk away. Venturing further afield to the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you can stop in the charming Welsh town located along the banks of the River Dee, Llangollen. Home to a number of attractions, including Llangollen Railway Station, Castell Dinas Brân, and Llangollen Bridge, the town is a memorable stop and there are also a number of restaurants and bars in the area, including the popular riverside bar and restaurant, The Corn Mill. Another popular location within easy reach of the bungalow is Betws-y-Coed, a picturesque town in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Mawnog Fach is a home-from-home for a break to remember.

The bustling market town of Bala is located within the beautiful Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala's famous lake, which is the largest natural lake in Wales and home to the Gwyniad, an Ice Age relic. Bala is well-known for its great watersports, such as fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, and whitewater rafting, and it also serves as the headquarters for the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway. The town itself is rich in history, with a variety of interesting shops, inns, and restaurants, as well as a historical Town Walk. This is a mecca for climbing, walking, mountain biking, and many other outdoor activities, surrounded on one side by the wonderful Berwyn Mountains and on the other by the beautiful Eryri (Snowdonia) Mountain Range.
