Guests say

Y Gorlan is a charming cottage offering stunning views of the mountains and countryside, with a peaceful and convenient location for exploring North Wales and Anglesey. Guests consistently praise the cleanliness, friendly and helpful owners, and the secure garden ideal for dogs and children. The cottage is well-equipped, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. While some mention minor issues such as a narrow access road, small double bed, and a need for updated garden furniture, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as very clean and tidy, with no significant complaints about cleanliness. Only one review mentioned the property looking a bit tired in places, but this referred more to furnishings than cleanliness.

The location is frequently praised for its beautiful views, peaceful setting, and convenience for exploring North Wales. Some guests note the narrow, steep access road and difficulty finding the property, but overall feedback is very positive.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mention of the secure garden and relaxing atmosphere. Some mention the double bed being small and the need for new couches, but these are minor compared to the overall comfort experienced.

The cottage is well-equipped with amenities such as a washing machine, hairdryer, iron, and kitchen essentials. A few guests noted the lack of a baking tray, uncomfortable garden furniture, and limited food storage, but most found the facilities more than adequate.

Many guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as milk, bread, butter, and tea/coffee provided on arrival. Please note, while these gestures are frequently mentioned, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Lovely little place in the mountains. Perfect for a short break away. The secure garden was brilliant for the dog and we also enjoyed getting to know the horses who came over and watching the sheep and lambs climbing the walls. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Not far from the Greenwood family park, Anglesey beach, a walk to an amazing waterfall as well as Snowdon. Perfect location.
