This Dolgellau cottage stands amidst beautiful scenic countryside in the Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park, renowned for its mountain bike routes, magnificent walking trails, spectacular waterfalls, nature reserves and other exciting outdoor pursuits.

Dolgellau is 5 miles away, offering shops, pubs and restaurants. This impressive Dolgellau cottage is wonderfully situated for enjoying the surrounding National Park, as well as the huge sandy beaches of Barmouth and Fairbourne, ideal for family fun and watersports. At the end of the day return to this imposing Dolgellau cottage to wine, dine and relax.

Ganllwyd is a scattered village set along the A470 in North Wales, surrounded by the wonderful forests of the Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park, which offers many renowned walking and mountain biking trails. 5 miles away is Dolgellau, which has a selection of shops and places to eat. The sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey are within reach, and all the activities of the Snowdonia National Park are practically on the doorstep.

    The only thing we missed was a garden. I would go back

    Well equipped and comfortable beds. The only point to mention was that the gate was sometimes left open by the person using the other drive and with dogs this was a concern. Otherwise the dogs loved the river and grounds.

    7 adults, I child and I dog. Never felt overcrowded once. Lovely house, great location. Would highly recommend.
