Enclosed courtyard with patio and garden furniture. Hot tub for 5 (private). Dogs only ( 2 small) welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. With a relaxing hot tub on the patio, this gorgeous detached holiday property, adjacent to the owners’ home, has been finished to an excellent standard. There is an open plan living area downstairs, complete with a warming wood burner for chilly evenings, and French doors opening out onto the patio. There are walks straight from the door and the Coed y Brenin Forest Park is close by, with tumbling waterfalls and leafy paths, and with cycle hire available.
It is just 3 miles to the pretty town of Dolgellau, offering a range of places to eat and drink. Dolgellau is also the starting point of the Mawddach Trail, a level 9 mile walk along the old railway line to Barmouth. The large sandy beach at Barmouth is well worth a visit – don’t forget your bucket and spade! In the other direction is Bala home to the largest natural lake in Wales, and the Bala Lake Railway, offering a memorable journey by steam train along the lake shore. Beach 11 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Superb place with lovely views, perfect location for countless walks and a real homely feel. After days exploring the surrounding hills and mountains it is a real treat to have a soak in the hot tub, looking at the peaks that you have just climbed! A fantastic, thoroughly relaxing week.

Great accommodation, set in a very quiet area. Clean and well equipped. Stayed for a week and toured the area. Not many local shops, but went well prepared. Great, clean hot tub!
