Guests say

Bryn Hyfryd is a characterful and comfortable cottage in Harlech, boasting spectacular views of the castle, sea, and Snowdon. Guests enjoy its proximity to the town, beach, and golf course, as well as the delightful family atmosphere it retains. The property's charm is complemented by its spaciousness and a cosy wood burner, although access may be challenging for those with mobility issues due to steep steps.

The cottage generally pleases guests, but there was a mention of cobwebs, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions, despite the steep access.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable and appreciate the homely atmosphere, though the single shower for a large group could be a slight inconvenience.

While the reviews mention a wood burner and sufficient parking, there is not enough detailed information on other facilities to provide a comprehensive score.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so a score cannot be provided. However, guests should note that such gestures, if offered, are a bonus and not guaranteed.

The main thing potential hirers need to know is that the flight of steps down from the car parking space is very steep. Anyone with mobility problems or someone elderly would struggle I feel. You need to be fairly fit to stay in Bryn Hyfryd as once you have climbed the stairs you then have a steep walk up to the castle and the shops and eateries. I did have an issue with the cobwebs in every room but that may just be the time of year. Basically Bryn Hyfryd is a characterful house in a fantastic location with wonderful views.
