The Villa in Harlech offers stunning views, spacious accommodation, and is well-equipped for family and dog-friendly holidays. Guests appreciate the property's location for exploring North Wales, the comfortable furnishings, and the sociable living areas. While some guests mention cleanliness and maintenance issues, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Reviews indicate that cleanliness is variable, with some guests finding the property spotless and others noting dust, dirt, and dog hair. The inconsistency leads to a slightly above-average score, as there are more positive comments than negative.
The location is highly praised for its incredible views and proximity to local attractions. The steep access road is noted, but the scenic value and convenience for exploring the area contribute to a high score.
Guests find the house comfortable, with ample living space and cosy furnishings. Some concerns about suitability for young children and the steepness of the access road slightly affect the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and sociable spaces. However, maintenance issues like blunt knives, threadbare carpets, and a lack of outdoor seating impact the score.
While some guests mention welcome gifts such as wine and cakes, there are not enough references to consistently assess the level of thoughtfulness across all reviews. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

It is clean, spacious and well equipped and has the most incredible, and unforgettable, views. Even the very steep hill and the slightly, unloved feeling of the house and garden doesnt take away from that view. If there was one very small gripe it would be the slow and unreliable wifi. Whenever I travel to North Wales again I wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

That view was truely something. We came as a large group and the villa was so spacious, we never felt on top of each other. The fully equipped kitchen made meal times easy. Showers were amazing. Beds comfy. The steep hill to access the Villa was was abit daunting at first but we soon got use to it and it is worth it for the views being up high provided. The only small suggestions we have which would have made our stay even better was maybe some fold up garden chairs would have been nice so we could sit in the part of the garden that overlooked the castle more comfortably, and we would of benefited from having some outside lighting for when it got dark. Other than that everything was perfect. We can't recommend the Villa enough, we will certainly be returning. Thank you for our stay.

We really loved doing some star gazing too- the sky is so much darker than where we live. Harlech is a great base for getting to lots of mountain walks and beaches.
