Positioned between Llanbedr and Harlech, it is ideal for anyone wishing to be close to the sea and also within Eryri, also known as Snowdonia National Park. With a toasty wood burner and underfloor heating, plus an enclosed garden for your four-legged friend, this cosy, two-bedroom retreat sleeps four guests making it perfect for couples and small families.
Open the front door and step straight into this delightful cottage from the charming street. Emerge in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its whitewashed, beamed ceiling, and stoke up the wood burner on chilly days. Stretch out on the comfortable seating to chat about your adventures or watch the Smart TV. Head up to the well-planned kitchen area to prepare a delicious dinner for everyone to enjoy as they gaze out towards the sea. Linger at the breakfast bar over a cup of coffee, with the doors to the garden open on summer days to bring in a sea breeze. As the sun begins to set over the sea and the day draws to a close, head upstairs to rest and recuperate in one of the two bedrooms. These include a lovely twin and a sumptuous double with sea views. There is also a modern-style shower room. Play games with children and pets on the lawn. Grill supper on the BBQ and savour the sea views from outside as well. Parking is in a free car park, 200 metres away, subject to availability.
Head into Harlech to potter in the shops, spend time on the beach and wander around the dramatic castle. Plan a day out to the fascinating, Italianate village of Portmeirion, 10 miles away. Venture into Eryri to hike, climb and enjoy other outdoor activities.
