A 19th century, stone-built, end-terrace cottage in the quiet village of Llanegryn, set amidst the lovely Dysynni Valley, where the mountains meet the sea in this beautiful part of Snowdonia. With a charming, cosy cottage atmosphere combined with modern facilities and a large established garden with delightful summerhouse and children's play area, Minffordd Cottage is ideal for a break as relaxing or energising as you care to make it. Nearby, are the seaside town of Tywyn and the delightful harbour village of Aberdovey, both favourites for watersports and fishing, while the whole area offers stunning mountain and coastal scenery, wonderful walking, an ideal centre for cycling, climbing, biking, birdwatching, horse riding and golf. Ride the Talyllyn Railway, or simply soak up the splendour of Snowdonia - there is so much to do from this cosy base.
Located in the beautiful Dysynni Valley, Llanegryn is a small, quiet village set in the south of the Snowdonia National Park. Only four miles from the bustling coastal town of Tywyn, Llanegryn is well placed for anyone looking to enjoy the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Steam Railway. This lovely little transport network boasts a seven mile track with runs through some of the most wonderful countryside in Britain, passing both the stunning Talyllyn Lake and the imposing Mount Cader Idris. Tywyn also boasts a long sandy beach: a favourite with families and water sport enthusiasts, especially surfers. Just four miles away is the lovely seaside village of Aberdovey which is renowned for sailing, sail-boarding, fishing, boat trips and an excellent 18-hole championship golf course.
