  A charming, beautifully presented property with stylish features and magnificent views over Looe and the ocean. Fully equipped open plan kitchen / diner, cosy lounge, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an additional downstairs WC, with ample storage. The property is situated on a hill with a car parking space accessed further up the hill in a private car parking area. Visitors can walk down into West Looe following the (steep at points) pathway from the front of the property or via a steep stairway at the back of the property. Traveling further up the hill, past the car parking space, provides access to the beautiful Downs - a great place to walk, especially with your four legged friends. Overall this accommodation is a great base for exploring the stunning coastal pathways. We had a very comfortable stay and loved the decor and views from the property itself. As others have stated in past reviews, the area around this property does require a certain level of fitness, as you will be walking up and down paths and steps a lot! Would recommend!

  Good value for money. This cottage is in a good location to access the centre of St Ives - turning right out of the house a steep walk up the hill to one of the beaches (15mins) or turn left out of the house for a more flatter gentler walk down the road to the centre of St Ives and the harbour (10min walk) Although no parking available outside, the street is quiet and it was easy to pull up outside the property to unload the luggage from our car. The cottage was clean albeit a bit dated, but everything was functional. No view as such from the living room window other than the street, but that didn’t bother us as we used the cottage as a bolt hole to return to after a day out in St Ives and the local area. We would stay here again as it was comfortable enough.

  This was a really comfy, home from home cottage, presented very well, clean and tidy.

  Kitchen has everything you need but there is no freezer section in the fridge. Bedding and towels provided were clean and smelt lovely. The rooms are well spaced. There really is no phone signal in the cottage but the WiFi is very good. Parking is a bit hit and miss but there was always a space not too far away. Great walks right from the door. At the moment you have to think ahead about eating out in the evening, there are some very good nearby eateries but you need to book. The cottage is really well placed for so many things to do, be that on the coast or on the moor. We would definitely recommend the cottage and would definitely return.

  The cottage is in a quiet location (apart from the early rising seagulls that are clearly uncontrollable) within easy walking distance of the town and numerous beaches. There were a few missing bits of basic kitchen equipment and dodgy blinds which affected getting access to natural light but these are easily rectifiable. The sun only really hit the back terrace in August mid morning, so fab for a late breakfast but not much else. It was however more spacious than we expected, inside. This part of Cornwall is really beautiful and absolutely full of opportunities for enjoyment whatever your passion is.

  This is a lovely Cottage in West Looe. The living area is lovely with a nice open plan kitchen and dining area. There is a lot to do and see in Looe. Lots of coffee shops and gift shops. The Sardine factory is a very nice restaurant close by. It was nice to be able to buy some fresh fish from Pengellys in Looe along with a good choice of food in the farm shop close by as well nice fish and chips. There is also a nice walk past the Sardine factory around the headland where we found two nice cafes. Looe is quite hilly so be prepared to walk up some steep hills and steps!
