Your dog will love a cottage St Andrews
The beautiful town of St Andrews is a lovely coastal town in Scotland. Although it is probably most famous for its prestigious university where the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge graduated, there are tons of other things to do and places to visit, as well as some great dog-friendly cottages to curl up in at the end of a busy day exploring.
The architecture is second to none, the coastal views are stunning, and there are plenty of walks for you and dog to enjoy together.
Dog-friendly things to do
The gardens of Cambo House
This is one of the best places to visit if you have a dog. They’re open all year round, so it doesn’t matter when you’re planning your getaway. The flowers tumbling down the Victorian walls are gorgeous. Plus, dog walkers can enjoy a stroll downstream which eventually brings you out by the sea. This path is easy on the paws and rewards you and your pup with some stunning views at the end.
Visit dog-friendly pubs and cafes
St Andrews is a favourite for dog owners, so it’s hardly surprising this beautiful town offers plenty of pet-friendly pubs and cafés. Settle down with a plate of homecooked food, a pint in hand, and your canine companion sat by your side- what could be better?
