  My recent long weekend stay in one of their cabins with a hot tub was nothing short of perfection. Accommodation: 5/5 The cabin was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing stay. The open-plan living area was spacious, with large windows that allowed us to take in the stunning views of the park. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and the living room was the perfect spot to unwind with a book or a movie after a day of exploring. The bedrooms were comfortable, with soft linens and plenty of storage space. Hot Tub Experience: 5/5 The highlight of the stay was, without a doubt, the private hot tub. Situated on the deck overlooking the tranquil surroundings, it was the perfect way to relax under the stars. The hot tub was clean, easy to use, and provided an excellent way to unwind after long walks around the park. Soaking in the warm bubbles while listening to the sounds of nature was pure bliss. Location and Surroundings: 5/5 Woodhall Country Park is a haven for nature lovers. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with picturesque lakes and abundant wildlife. We spent hours walking along the well-marked trails, taking in the fresh air and stunning scenery. For those interested in exploring further, the nearby Woodhall Spa village offers charming shops, cafes, and a touch of local history. Facilities and Service: 5/5 The park's facilities were top-notch. We appreciated the little touches, like the welcome pack with essentials to get us started. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist if needed. They clearly take pride in maintaining the park and ensuring guests have a memorable stay. Overall Experience: 5/5 Our stay at Woodhall Country Park was everything we hoped for and more.   We have just returned home from a fabulous week!

  This holiday was a trip down memory lane for me and it certainly gave me back some fabulous memories! Our stay at Chippers was great! Very well equipped property it had everything we needed! I have a few negatives to add but the positives are so good it wouldn’t stop me staying again! My only complaints are : the cleaning could of been a little more spot on! I noticed a fair few cobwebs around the house, like you do in every house but maybe I’m just picky, the air fresheners in the property were either full but didn’t work or empty. This meant after being out all day we came back and it smelt very stuffy and shut up…not fresh.. The towels provided were very generous but they were towel that didn’t dry well…you know like new towels???!!! Also the toilet roll holder felt a good reach away from the toilet! Ok for me but impossible for my little one. One bedside lamp didn’t work, and the lamp in the living room wouldn’t turn on, and we had a drippy tap in the kitchen sink. These are just my observations. I know it’s a holiday home and you put up with some things as it’s only temporary accommodation and these may seem like silly comments but just little things that caught my eye! Can’t fault anything else! The garden was well kept, a lovely hamper with bread, crisps, biscuits (Thankyou) a bottle of lemonade, very much appreciated! Beds were lovely and clean. Area was lovely and quiet (we did have a big yellow eye sore skip outside for most of the week but that can’t be helped as it was for a property across the road). As I said my negative comments are not really major faults just a few little things I feel could be changed to make the property so much better and it wouldn’t stop me staying again !

  Our recent stay at Sunset Lodge in Woodhall Country Park was nothing short of extraordinary!

  From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the peaceful atmosphere that envelops this hidden gem. The lodge itself is beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a luxurious getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the large, private decking area, complete with a hot tub, where we spent our evenings unwinding as we watched the sunset over the tranquil lake. The attention to detail throughout the lodge, from the plush bedding to the high-end kitchen appliances, truly made it feel like a home away from home. The welcome treats for us and the treats for the dogs (with personalised name tag) was amazing on arrival. The location is perfect for nature lovers, with Woodhall Country Park offering picturesque walking trails and the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife. The peacefulness of the surroundings made it the ideal retreat for a relaxing break, yet it’s only a short distance from the charming village of Woodhall Spa, where we enjoyed lovely local shops and restaurants. Check out the heated outdoor pool! Sunset Lodge exceeded all of our expectations, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a family retreat, or a weekend of tranquility, this lodge offers it all. We can’t wait to return!

  We really enjoyed our stay at Chippers.

  It was in a lovely, peaceful location with a long drive and large garden and also an enclosed area just outside the back door. The Kitchen was very well equipped and we found everything we needed. There was an extensive choice of cooking pans and dishes. When we arrived there was a lovely hamper and flowers on the table as well as a bowl of fruit. Upstairs lovely large towels and complimentary toiletries. We thought Chippers had a lovely feel to it. I have only given it 4 stars as there was a very small fridge/freezer which we found difficult to access as very close to the floor and meant a lot of bending down which was difficult for us due to various health problems. Quite a lot to see in the area although usually meant a short drive. We couldn't find any good walks straight from the door. Woodhall Spa is very nice and a short distance away. There was a useful OS map but could have done with a few up to date tourist leaflets about local area. Would recommend.

  Really beautiful hut with beautiful views and a lovely private field.

  The field was secure and perfect for my dog to run around freely. The hut was cosy and well decorated with plenty of blankets for the cooler evenings. We had a lovely welcome pack with some bread and milk so thank you for that. For feedback purposes there was a couple of minor things. Some of the cutlery was dirty and had to be re washed. The bed is nearing its end, you can feel the springs and plastic from the mattress detailing was coming through the sheets and poking us. We had to pull them out as was very uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet and using blankets instead. It could also do with some hooks to hang certain clothes items as there is nowhere at all to hang clothes or wet towels. And it is slightly over cluttered on the shelf by the bed. Nowhere to put my belongings. I would definitely come back to this hut and would recommend it to friends.
