Sandy Paws is very comfortably furnished throughout with an enclosed private garden and a seating patio, perfect for barbecues. This wonderful holiday home is located just 880 yards from Gorleston-on-Sea’s beach, an award-winning sandy beach with grand promenade and gardens, a beach café, restaurants and a pub offering great refreshments and food. The beach also has a designated area for walking dogs. This is a great destination that is very popular for young and old alike, surfers, windsurfers, body-boarders and kite-flyers too. Gorleston’s town centre is just a 20-minute walk for shops, supermarkets and more restaurants and pubs.
Head to the traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth for its sandy beach, donkey rides, trampoline park (seasonal), pier, promenade, amusements, fun fair, crazy golf, model village and much more. For thrill seekers, enjoy a day at Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, or for a quieter day out, golfers are welcome at Gorleston Golf Club. Jump on the train or take a 35-minute drive to the medieval city of Norwich, voted one of the top ten shopping locations in the UK. Here you will also find art galleries, a cathedral and a castle museum. Suffolk Heritage Coast is full of pretty coastal villages such as Southwold, Dunwich and Aldeburgh, all within driving distance.
For a change in pace, visit the Norfolk Broads National Park, the southern gateway of which lies in Oulton Broad, just a short drive away. Add in lots of great walks, cycle routes and wildlife watching opportunities, and you will see why the area remains so popular.

Enjoyed our stay. House was clean, well equipped and warm when we arrived. It served it's purpose. We took 4 senior dogs, plus ourselves being senior, and we did find the stairs a bit challenging. The cooker and the central heating were a bit high tech for us too but we are sure more technical minded people would have no problem Good location as short walk to beach. We managed parking without any problem but we did find a car park that was 5 minutes walk away if we needed it. Londis shop at the end of the road and a good Fish and Chip Shop nearby. Thanks for the welcome gift, we all enjoyed it. All in all, it was a great place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Would recommend to others.

Great A** property only thing that could be a problem is parking we got outside the property but you could see if you moved you may not get back but it being a mid terrace this is what you should expect lol

Sandy Paws was comfortable and warm and the wine and dog treats were a nice touch. There was tea, coffee and milk provided. The log burner was lovely and everything was provided to have a fire each night. It would have been nice to see waterproof pillow protectors and a chopping board. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep, so anyone with walking difficulties would struggle to climb them! Parking was as issue, hence I didn't take my car out to explore the local area for the duration of my stay for fear of not being able to park close by for packing up when departing for home.
