  This is a gem of a place.

  It is only a short walk into the town, so the location is excellent. There is room for 4 cars at the rear and plenty of on-road parking with the option of carpark at the rear of the accommodation. The views from the front facing rooms are outstanding and having breakfast in the superior room whilst looking across the bay into the Lake District was heavenly. The owners have obviously invested a lot of money in the place, and every room is decorated to an exceptionally high standard. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil and device you will need. They have an amazing games room and cinema room that you could end up spending hours in and a fantastic dining room that can be used as focal point for any group gathering. The host contacted me before we arrived and made sure that we had all of the info we would need to make our stay enjoyable and hassle free. He then sent us an electronic guide which I thought was a really good idea. We had a fantastic weekend there and my only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. If you are reading this, and are in any doubt...book it! You will not regret it.

  We booked this property for our large group of 20 people and what a great find it was!

  The property is very tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. Everything we could have possibly wanted was available in the house. The kitchen was very well stocked for the amount of people we were and our hosts left us some treats to enjoy, so kind and thoughtful. The bedrooms were a great size, some with spacious en suites. Beds were extremely comfy. The large utility kitchen with a washer and dryer was excellent especially when we returned from the beach or from a day out in the lakes. The shared living spaces were fantastic especially the cinema and games room, our younger ones really enjoyed spending time there. Our hosts were very helpful, checking in with us a week before we stayed and then on the day too, making sure it all ran smoothly. We would love to stay here again and can't recommend Eden Bay retreat enough. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, wishing you all the very best and hopefully see you again soon! ❤️

  This property is the most spotlessly clean and well organised property we've ever stayed in.

  Every room is lovely and some have big bay windows with a view of the beach. There's everything in the kitchen you would need and it's all labelled, so you know where to put everything back. The cinema room is a great touch and absolutely fantastic, so is the games room. There was a lovely welcome gift of biscuits and lolly pops left for the children, which I think was a nice touch. The communication is fantastic, and the digital guide provided by the owners is brilliant, you cam look where to go before you get there, see the layout of the area, restaurants, layout of the house, you name it. I'd recommend anyone to stay here, it's a wonderful property. There weren't any complaints at all, or tips for improvements....and there were 13 of us! 5 stars from us!

  This house is absolutely amazing!

  The pictures don’t do it justice. We booked here last minute as a group of 18 and a dog and were the first group to stay here. The house is over 5 floors so be prepared for some exercise! The house has everything you need and more, the kitchen is extremely well equipped and there are tea/coffee making stations on other floors too which save your legs! The views across the bay are beautiful and there are plenty of rooms to sit and admire it. The children spent most of their time in the game and cinema rooms which are in the basement and out of the way so everyone else can relax on the higher floors! The owners have done a fabulous job on this property and we hope to come back one day as we had the best weekend.

  A Perfect Base for Lake District Exploration!

  Property was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Appliances were high end and quality with even an air fryer available too! No issues with the Wifi either, great coverage and speeds. Views were beautiful from the property looking over Morecambe Bay with the Lake District visible in the horizon. Local area had everything, plenty of places to eat out and supermarkets a few minutes drive away. Easy access to the main M6 motorway and only half hour away from the Lakes. Thoroughly recommended staying here. Many thanks to our host who maintained excellent communications with us and made sure everything was in order. Hope to be back again someday.
