Enjoying spectacular countryside views, this detached holiday cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and set within the 7-acre grounds of Garden Farm (no longer working), in a quiet and peaceful location on the edge of Ilam Hall Country Park. The ground floor comprises of a living room, spacious kitchen and a twin bedroom with an en-suite, and the first floor has a double bedroom and a bathroom. Excellent walking can be enjoyed from the door as well as cycling. The beautiful Dovedale and Manifold valleys lie just a mile away. Tissington and High Peak Trails nearby. Ashbourne 5 miles. Carsington Water 9 miles. Alton Towers 8 miles. Shops 5 miles, pub 1 mile.

Absolutely lovely cottage, beautifully clean. Fantastic location. We had stunning weather. Cottage was well equipped and suited our needs perfectly The only drawback for us was phone signal non existent and wi fi very poor. I appreciate for most people this would be a Blessing to be without these things but for us for various reasons needing to keep in touch with an ailing relative and still needing to respond to emergency work emails proved almost impossible and this was a frustration

This is an excellent holiday base. The whole Dales "experience" is on the doorstep; the cottage is pristine with all amenities required, and the proprietors are friendly and helpful without being intrusivej. 5 stars!
