Alongside the comfortable living room and well-equipped kitchen, there are also two bedrooms consisting of double and single beds for a variety of sleeping arrangements all promising a restful night’s sleep. Completing the property is the family bathroom, offering both bathing and showering experiences for your choice of indulgence or convenience. There is also an enclosed dog exercise area so that you can ensure bringing your furry friends won’t be a problem! For festive breaks, the property will be decorated to create a cosy yet festive atmosphere and ambience.
It is also close to the route taken by the 2014 Tour de France, so come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow the trail of some true cycling legends. The market town of Selby with its abbey is just 10 minute’s drive away and the walled city of York, 10 miles away, is easily accessible by car or bus directly from the village and holds an irresistible appeal for all tastes with its wealth of attractions, including the Castle and Railway Museums and the minster, complimented by cobbled streets and quaint shops.
The cottage is conveniently close to Leeds, Wetherby, Knaresborough and the spa town of Harrogate, whilst the coastal resorts of Scarborough, Whitby, Filey and Bridlington are all within a 90-minute drive. The Yorkshire Dales, Moors and Wolds also make excellent days out, or why not try you’re your hand at fishing with fishing opportunities nearby? Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Absolutely lovely cottage with everything we neededCarole the host was brilliant very helpful and on hand to greet us on arrival and see us off and gave us a suggestion of a nursery to visit for breakfast on the way home which was great and we would not have found ourselvesThe cottage is ideal for walkers and would be awesome on a summers dayWe appreciated the welcome packWould highly recommend this cottage and would not hesitate to return

Carole has been very friendly and profesional throughout the whole duration of our stay. The cottage backed into the horses field who came right up to the Fence in the back garden. The cottage was clean, cosy and toasty warm for the storm we had that weekend. Its one of the best nights sleeps Ive ever had! Id highly recommend staying here and I will definitely book here again. Its around 25 minutes into York centre and is very close to the village of Cawood which has lovely pubs and eaterys. I cant wait to revisit!
