This detached holiday bungalow is adjacent to the owner’s working farm in an elevated position above the village of Loftus, just a mile from the cliff top and a few hundred yards from the Cleveland Way footpath, which runs along the North Yorkshire heritage coastline. A woodburning stove provides a focal point in the spacious, cosy living room. The fishing village of Staithes, with its quaint harbour and cobbled alleyways to explore, is just 5 minutes drive away, whilst Whitby, a little further, has plenty to do for all the family. The North York Moors National Park is close by, with quaint villages including Goathland, alias ’Aidensfield’ in the TV series of Heartbeat. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The bungalow was very clean, homely, and spacious. The garden was lovely and secure and had plenty of space for dogs to run around. The area is on a hill so if you do enjoy going out to walk to places bare that in mind. There is local pubs, shops that are a short walk away. The owners were friendly and accomidating. We loved our time there, and would happily stay there again.

Great location for beach walks, and good garden for the dogs. Wifi is on a dongle, so streaming can be erratic.The cottage is homely, warm and comfortable, but in need of a few fixes, such as boiler timer, stiff taps and a fridge door not fitting unless you push the bottom hard.If I were to come back to the area I would definately stop again.

Lovely cottage great facilities warm and cosy great location. Lovely walks from the front door and and wider areas. Great beaches. Location amenities on your doorstep lovely choices to eat and great tearoom with lovely home cakes. Could ask for more
