The yurt opens into a distinctive open‑plan space where living, dining, and resting flow together, creating an atmosphere that feels both characterful and easy to settle into.

Bags can be set down, shoes slipped off, and the space quickly starts to feel like your own. Cooking is comfortably woven into the heart of the yurt, with a full oven and hob allowing for proper meals when the mood strikes, and a microwave on hand for simpler options. Once food is served, the dishwasher keeps everything moving along smoothly, leaving you free to linger over the table or ease into the sitting area without interruption. As daylight softens, the gas woodburner‑effect stove brings warmth and focus to the space, making it a natural place to unwind. When the evening calls for something low‑key, lower the roll‑down screen, choose a DVD, and enjoy a relaxed cinema‑style night that suits the calm of the island setting.

Later, climb up to the mezzanine level, where the king‑size bed looks out over the living space below, forming a tucked‑away sleeping area that gently rounds off the day. Tucked to the side, the freestanding roll‑top bath invites long, unhurried soaks without breaking the open flow of the space. For deeper relaxation, the sauna offers a warming retreat, while a separate basin and WC keep the layout practical without interrupting the living area. Outside, the wooden veranda wraps the edge of the island, placing you close to the water at every turn. Sink into the private hot tub, light the firepit as evening draws in, or fire up the barbecue for an alfresco meal, with outdoor seating encouraging you to stay put and take your time.

The village sits on the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border, close to the old market town of Evesham, famous for its horticulture. The regency spa town of Cheltenham, with its range of shops, cinemas, theatres, restaurants, pubs, and famous Gold Cup horse racing, is a short drive away.
