With bright accommodation set solely over the ground floor, this cottage near Ballycastle is a warm and welcoming base from which to enjoy this delightful area of the Emerald Isle. There are three cosy and comfortable bedrooms and a tasteful sitting room complete with a roaring open fire, the perfect accompaniment as the day draws to a close. The kitchen in this Ballycastle cottage is a sociable spot where guests can gather over breakfast to organise day trips, or savour a well-deserved evening glass of wine beside the solid fuel stove, as the chef in the party prepares a culinary delight. Outside, you can tuck into a picnic on the well-kept lawn, with far-reaching views travelling over the rich green countryside, all the way to the sea. Enjoy charming country walks, or take a stroll along the bay just half a mile north of this County Mayo cottage, and a little further still, Downpatrick Head is perfect for a windswept wander across the cliffs, with sweeping seascapes stretching over the waves.
