It is full of character, with beamed, high vaulted ceilings. It adjoins the owners’ home and is just 2 miles from the old Roman town of Cirencester. The Cotswold Water Park, Cheltenham (14 miles), Oxford, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Lechlade are easily accessible. Shops 2 miles, pub serving food a short stroll away.

Lovely cottage. You know when you book that there are no shops with in walking distance which didn’t bother me. Pub at bottom of rd . Nice but a boutique pub. Not your local. What I find with the last few cottages there is no tea and coffee provided. It’s all sachets and decaf. The tea is usually herbal and not enough to last a week . Therefore I take my own. It would be good if you asked rentals if they provide tea and coffee. That was only a small complaint, Other than that it was a nice base to explore. I cycled to a lot of places . But to get out and about you need a car but you know that before booking .

This was the perfect cottage for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat from an overly busy life. It is set in a quiet beautiful village yet easily accessible are many lovely gardens, historic houses, Roman Villas, old churches, etc.
