Lovely spot, great place

Lovely barn conversion which was well equipped. We were an extended family - 8 adults and 5 children. There are four bedrooms all with en-suite. Access is via a long rough cart track but not a problem if you drive slowly and pick your way past the ruts! Quite isolated although there is a farm, cottage and two small holiday cottages on site. A footpath runs past the barn. Nice fairly level walks to Anchor Church caves and Foremark Reservoir.

An excellent property I highly recommend for a family gathering. We were a party of 12 and love the central communal living space which was perfect for meals, games and general gathering. The kitchen was equipped for big groups with 2 fridge freezers with lots of ice supplied, 2 kettles and toasters, a really nice touch. The bedrooms were roomy and en suite, plenty of hot water although the boiler is very noisy when turned on, so beware those who sleep in! The shared garden is good and we spent plenty of time there. There is WiFi but it could do with a repeater or two to cover the whole property as there is a lack of mobile signal. Host was great and available if required. All in all it made for a great setup.
