Step into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and admire the vaulted, beamed ceiling and a stylish take on a country cottage interior. The neutral-toned kitchen boasts an island with a breakfast bar and an intimate dining table for two. On the other side of the room is a cosy lounge with a green sofa and footstool in front of the TV and a contemporary wood burner. Walk through the glass doors into the garden room with rattan furniture and a hanging seat. Completing the interior is a king-size bedroom and a shower room. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ. There is private parking for two cars.

Pop to Matlock Bath for sky-high views from the Heights of Abraham cable cars (9 miles). Venture into the Peak District National Park to follow the Winster to Bonsall Path (11.5 miles) or to walk around Robin Hood’s Stride (17.5 miles).
