It has retained many original features and has an excellent location, close to the village pubs and shops. The cottage has been equipped with quality appliances and is situated close to the popular market town of Bakewell. It is in a great location for visiting the Derbyshire countryside.

Lovely little cottage in a great location. Good amount of walks surrounding the village as well as being able to do small walks with the dog in the village. Lovely welcome package in the cottage and so handy to be able to use the logs from the log shed! Most places you only get starter logs. Cottage was lovely and clean, nice comfy bed and sofa. Was the perfect place to get away for some peace and quiet!

Just returned from a lovely week away. Youlegrave is great with 3 pubs, tea room, mini market and buses to and from Bakewell. A good mixture of walks from the cottage.The cottage was great, well stocked and comfortable. The welcome hamper and essentials were well received after a horrendous journey up in the storm, thank you. David was very welcoming when we arrived.l, again thank you. Almost don’t want to recommend as want it available when we want to return!

Lovely owners who go above and beyond. Really well located for all the gorgeous things the Peak District has to offer. Chatsworth House and Bakewell just a 15-20 minute drive away. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped. Parking is tight so a bigger vehicle be aware. The owners are more than happy to accept dogs but there is no immediate area to toilet your dog. You have to walk about ten minutes to the brook for a walk and a wee. Youlgrave is a wonderful vintage type village with everything you need right on the doorstep. There are three pubs to choose from, a post office shop and tearoom with all sorts of goodies right at the end of the drive. We enjoyed our time.
