What a charming little cottage. Beautiful location, friendly owner, and local badgers! It was just what we needed. Beautiful local walks along the Cromford canal are just yards from the door. The beds were very comfortable. We are already planning our next visit. If you have any mobility issues you might find the stairs a little challenging, but otherwise it was absolutely delightful.

Absolutely beautiful Cottage in a fantastic location. Had some beautiful walks along the Cromfield Canal which is literally on the doorstep and the kids loved seeing the Badgers every evening.Well placed for local amenities with an Aldi close by in Belper.Mr Slaney was warm and welcoming and very good with our teenagers, particularly as our Son has a learning disability.Would definitely recommend and we hope to visit again in the future.
