Set to the rear of the owner’s home, with views over open fields to the side, in a peaceful location yet only a short distance of the popular seaside resort of Skegness, lie Ashington Holiday Cottages (refs 29130, 29131 and UKC2370). They provide well-appointed, comfortable, detached accommodation. The traditional holiday resort of Skegness is well known for its sandy beaches, seal sanctuary, Gibraltor Point Nature Reserve and fun fair. There are two excellent 18-hole links golf courses nearby at North Shore and Seacroft, with fishing lakes throughout the area one of which is just ½ mile away. The region offers good walking and cycle routes, with the Lincolnshire Wolds and the market towns of Louth and Alford nearby. Horncastle, best known for its numerous antique shops, is about 25 minutes’ drive. Shop and pub serving food 1 mile.

Very nice place to stay lovely welcoming and a really nice place to stay. Even though it was wet and cold the accommodation was lovely and warm and very comfortable. Even had the heating on before we arrived. I would definitely recommend this lovely place to stay .

Lovely cottage in a great setting - we saw deer, huge rabbits and geese walking in the field at the back. Extras like coffee, tea, biscuits - not to mention a bottle of wine - were an added bonus. Only 10 minutes to local attractions. Thank you Maria!

We had a fabulous stay at Oak Lodge. It is spotlessly clean and very well maintained with everything you need to self catering provided. Watching deer, rabbits and owls from the enclosed garden was a highlight as was our daily visits from Poppy the owners dog. Have already booked for next year.
