The Annexe in Skegness offers a cosy and well-equipped stay, with many guests praising its cleanliness and convenient location for exploring Lincolnshire. The village's friendly atmosphere and local amenities add to the charm, although light sleepers may find the nearby church bells and traffic noise challenging. Despite its compact size, the property is appreciated for its value and the owner's hospitality.
Guests consistently note the property as 'spotlessly clean' and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout their stay.
The property's location is generally well-regarded for its proximity to local shops, pubs, and attractions. However, some guests mention traffic noise and the church bells as potential drawbacks.
While many find the property cosy and the bed comfortable, there are comments about the compact size leading to a cramped bathroom and limited space, especially when accompanied by a pet.
The Annexe is praised for being well-equipped, with a separate laundry room and thoughtful touches like DVDs. Some guests suggest improvements in seating comfort and mention the lack of a private outdoor space.
Guests appreciate the provision of essentials and a warm welcome, including tea, coffee, and biscuits. While gifts like chocolates are mentioned, it's important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

Great little place to stay very comfortable couch and bed. Kitchen well equipped. Copious amounts of hot water to get a good shower even if it is a little snug for very round people. Lovely people in a great village. The church opposite is worth a look. If you don't want to use your car the regular bus service is excellent the No 56 will take you either to Horncastle or Skegness.

Everything you require was there. Very well equipped kitchen, lovely lounge and the most comfortable bed. All located in a beautiful village.

The kitchen/dining area was extremely narrow, which did not allow much room for manoeuvre with both myself and a large greyhound entering and exiting the property. There was no garden area to let the dog out when necessary, only immediate access to the main road (!), and no carpeting on any of the floors, so nowhere comfortable for the dog to rest after the day out. That being said we had everything we needed in the property, and the luck we had weather wise was a bonus. Unfortunately I managed to lose my iPhone by the first morning, but obviously can't blame Sykes for that. A nice place to stay on the whole.
