We enjoyed our stay at the interesting and quirky Green Shutters and were very comfortable. The village pub served excellent food, as did the pub at Coleby. We parked in the garage one night but then decided on the lay-by instead as it was much easier and really quite close to the cottage. The host was very helpful and responded promptly to any texts. It was interesting to visit Belton House and also to spend a day exploring Lincoln. The countryside is lovely with many pretty villages, and we may well return to see a bit more of the area in the future.

An eclectic cottage with miles of peaceful stunning views and everthing you will need for a relaxing break. Only a short walk to the local pub and good bus links to the city. The local villages provide alternative options for food and drinks, and a must visit is the viewing platform at R A F Waddington to see the Red Arrows who are based there. Damon the owner was in regular contact and responded promptly. We did not encounter any issues during our visit and would happily return in the future.

Lovely quirky cottage, local pub just down the lane, we loved the Tempest pub in Colby especially the tapas meal, Sunday roast meal also excellent, dog walking area very good from the cottage door, perfect host.
