Coarse fishing lakes are 1/2 mile away, and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and visitor centre, home to the wwii Lancaster and Spitfire, is 3 miles. Beautiful sandy beaches are 40 minutes away, as well as the resort of Skegness, with its nature reserve, sandy beaches and amusements. Lincoln, famous for its cathedral, has shops and restaurants. There are walks and cycle routes from the door. Shop 21/2 miles, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.
Enjoying open fields to the rear, this detached holiday cottage is situated on the edge of a village, yet only 1/2 mile from the village pub which is well known for excellent food and drink. There are coarse fishing lakes 1/2 mile away, along with four nature reserves within 2 miles, ideal for walking, fishing and bird watching. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and visitor centre, home to the wwii Lancaster and Spitfire, is only 3 miles away. Woodhall Spa, with two top class golf courses, the unique Kinema in the Woods (cinema), independent shops, outdoor swimming pool and attractive walks in the magnificent pine woods and choice of coffee shops is 3 miles away. Beautiful, sandy, beaches are about 40 minutes away along with the traditional seaside resort of Skegness. Lincoln with its famous cathedral, medieval castle, cobbled streets, Usher Art Gallery, independent shops and restaurants is a short 40 minute drive away and is a great place for a day out. Excellent walks and cycle routes can be found from the cottage, and along with the Lincolnshire Wolds’ lovely scenery, pretty villages and small towns nearby, there is something for everyone to do. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.

This was our 2nd visit in 4months and have already booked again Coming from down South its so nice to get away somewhere quiet. See the countryside and not housing estates of 5000plus houses being built. No motorway nearby is a bliss. Woodhall Spa is about 5minute drive and Woodhall woods about 3minutes which is perfect for a walk with the dogs. The local pub in Kirkby on Bain served proper pub food not all this same chain stuff takes about 8minutes to walk to.The cottage is perfect for 2 and 2 dogs but does have 2 double bedrooms upstairs. We chose the bedroom downstairs so can sleep 6 easily in total. It's all very clean and has all living stuff you need. Parking for a few cars off road. Would recommend bringing your our Amazon Fire Stick as TV nowadays is shocking. The garden is perfect for our 2 dogs to chase each other. The white horse in the field next door kept coming over at night which was nice. Its an ideal place to stay if you want to pop out every day and travel Lincoln only took 40mins and Skegness about the same. Mermaid fish n chips in Horncastle is good about 15min drive.Recommend yes.

Absolutely beautiful cottage we have stayed at a few but this is definitely our favourite! Everything is top notch would highly recommend
