We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Snug. The host, David, put so much effort into creating a lovely place and provided a great welcome pack which even catered for my special dietary needs. The cottage has been very tastefully refurbished and well decorated throughout. Every inch of space has been carefully utilized! The fold out table and chairs stow away into a corner of the lounge so there is still space for the two comfy settees - just right for watching TV or reading. We appreciated the wifi provision and the many USB charging sockets around the house. The kitchenette is very well equipped with modern appliances including a Nespresso machine. The subtle lighting provides a great ambience downstairs. The bathroom, though small, is really modern with plenty of hot water and although there was a slight problem with the digital controls on the shower, David came out within half an hour of our SOS to sort it out. The two bedrooms are immaculately clean; one overlooks the high street but is not affected by street lighting. There's only one small wardrobe but it was enough for two of us on a short stay. The only slight downside is the on-street parking but most of the time we found a space very close by.Thank you, David for making our stay so memorable.
