The five of us had a lovely stay at Cutters Cottage; Grandad(80), parents(40&37) and children(11&8).Whilst the two smaller bedrooms are very small, they were great spaces for our two to sleep after busy days, and the two larger rooms were perfectly comfortable for the older generations. The bathroom upstairs was an added bonus, although the space for the toilet was a little cramped, it was still a very good use of space. We ate out locally one night, at the New Inn, even though it was a very busy evening in the pub, the food was really tasty and the service was very good. We did also order a takeaway away via the Just Eat app, the options were many, and the Thai we went for was located in the next town. The station was barely a fifteen minute walk away with great links to the surrounding area and direct into London Liverpool Street(30mins). Just bare in mind that the trains on the way into London are busy anytime of the day.Just one point to bare in mind, there is no parking onsite. Whilst this was not an issue in the main, as there is a free carpark located very close to the property, you do not have line of site on your vehicle while it is parked there. Although we never had any issues with finding a space and felt it was a safe place to leave our vehicle.Kelly was a very warm and welcoming host, full of knowledge about the local area, and very keen for any feed back about the property. She took the time to meet us face to face and added some personal touches to enhance our stay.We would strongly recommend this property and very much consider staying again.

Cutters cottage didn’t have enough comfortable chairs to sit on . The small bedrooms upstairs were adequate for children not adults , the upstairs bathroom was very small and the stairs were very narrow . For more than 4 same sex adults this cottage is not suitable

Kelly was a wonderful host, very accommodating. The location was perfect for getting to the NAPA Centre in Harlow.
