While ideal for couples, some guests note the cottage's basic amenities and suggest it may not be as convenient for groups of four due to the en suite toilet layout.

The location is frequently commended for its quietness, beautiful views, and accessibility to shops, villages, and beaches, making it a desirable spot for a peaceful retreat.

The cottage is described as peaceful and cosy, particularly in the colder months. However, the comfort for four adults may be compromised due to limited toilet access and clothes storage.

Lovely surroundings and views, central for visiting the area. The cottage is very basic and needs updating. There is an issue with the cooker at the moment as the owners have supplied a worktop oven and hob, not ideal. It is advertised as sleeps 4 with a sofa bed in the lounge. The only toilet is in the en suite in the bedroom which is not good. There is nowhere in the lounge for clothes storage only in the bedroom, I can't see this working for 4 adults staying there, for 2 people it is ideal. We enjoyed the week and found the owners very friendly and helpful.

A delightful accommodation close to several beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants. The two owners are very friendly, love dogs and are keen to chat about the area. Many walks possible from the front door, plus a short drive to Colchester, Walton on the Naze, Frinton etc. Nice quite location.
